The Woodpeckers Adjusta-Joint Box Joint Sled is designed to create customizable box joints using a unique template system. With a set of 62 steel spacers, you can arrange pins and sockets in a wide variety of patterns beyond evenly spaced joints.The sled operates with a standard 1/8" kerf chisel tooth rip blade and does not require a dado blade. For optimal results, use the Ultra-Shear Flat Top Grooving Blades. The mating pattern is created by simply rotating the template 180°, allowing accurate repeat cuts.Patented leaf spring miter bar fits standard 3/8" x 3/4" miter gauge slots and expands to maintain a secure fit.PTFE (Teflon) ultra-low friction bushings keeps the workpiece, clamps, and fence moving together for consistent indexing.Tapered index pin with ball detents allows fine adjustments to control joint fit.8" adjustable template extends effectively to 15" with flip-around cuts and handles stock up to 2-1/2" thick.Includes 2 knuckle clamps, 3 index pins, 2 sacrificial subfences, and a wall-mountable Rack-It for storage.Precision machined and inspected in Strongsville, Ohio for repeatable box joint performance.
